Every so often we'll blog something that causes a frenzy among those who need to have it right then and there. Richard Lawson's 9vo(l)tive concept is at the top of that list and all the hype has finally yielded some fruits. Mathmos is now producing and selling these illuminated gems, now called 9 VOLTS, but we're a little sad that there isn't a rechargeable option. Either way, congrats to Mr. Lawson and happy shopping to all you folks who couldn't wait to get your paws on these.

Really glad you like the new 9 Volts! Just a quick note to let you know that we have specifically worked the design so that you can use it with rechargeable batteries.
