
Hot on the heels of Motorola's Renew phone comes the Samsung Blue Earth, which is not only also made from recycled plastic bottles, but does Moto one better: It's solar-charged.
Specifics are pretty thin, but the phone will reportedly be released later this year in the UK--an odd choice of a rollout country for a solar-powered phone, as the place isn't exactly swimming in sunlight.

is this not a pointless use of a technology as people tend to charge their phones at night when there is no sun and keep their phones in their pockets (bags for the ladies) during the day so unless there is going to be a new trend of iggy pop style transparent trousers i can's see this working
