What with all the business and brokering going on at the Furniture Fair and the equally superfluous expressions of style, crying out for attention in the Greenhouse, it was nice to see Linnéuniversitetet of Småland, Sweden present six concepts under the theme "Six ways not to die".
The stall, representing something of a dystopian, post-global warming crisis world, displayed such concepts as a mobile water-catcher made from old tarps and a yoke made of old flip-flop soles for long distance carrying.
Puts the whole concept of a furniture fair into some much needed perspective. Kudos.

Erik Abelin presented a yoke at this annual fair in Stockholm just last year, and that was highly original. Never heard about this tiny university. But I think it's a shame if they have just copied an idea.

Niklas your ignorance is dumbfounding. Try reading before you make a comment. The yoke you ar refering to is in no way whatsoever! even close to the one in this project. Read before you judge.
