Envyrobubble! is a recycling container specifically for the chewing gum that its designers found clogging Toronto streets. They created an iconic destination for your chewed-over Bubble Yum, with a biodegrabdable bag inside. The whole thing is then shipped off to be made into fertilizer. Excitingly, this appears to be a real product that is installed in locations with the right arrangments with municipal infrastructure and recycling groups.

spit don't swallow...lovely, and oh so clever...
on a side note, does anyone remember that urban myth about gum staying inside you for 7 years if you swallow it?...is there a shred of truth to that, or is it just another one of those stories we get told...like santa, and how we evolved from monkeys (..kidding..)
I found one of these on the streets of Toronto a while back. I've only seen one so far. A friend has spotted another. I don't think they're in enough spots to make much of a difference, unless you save all your gum for the week and do a bulk dropoff.
