General Motors and Chevrolet recently announced details for the 2009 Corvette ZR1, it's the fastest production car GM have ever built and possibly the most expensive, starting at $103,300 US. Autoblog has a comprehensive high-res gallery of the ZR1 and details from the press release here.

So Core, are you going to cover the Nissan GTR, also? It costs $30k less than the ZR1, but spanks it on the ring.

It's amazing to see the production of a 100k car in the US vs in Europe. Take for instance the VW Pheaton assembly plant ( http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1837641), it looks like a clean room from NASA not a car manufacturing facility. Just goes to show the level of quality control and care that goes into a good ol American Vehicle
