The Way We Carry, a new project by New York bag designer Brit Kleinman, is a collection of images about the way we carry our things. According to Kleinman, the site "takes an ethnographic approach, looking at how each bag represents the 'tools' we use every day within the lifestyles we live."
From grocery bags to leather satchels, it's a wonderful browse and a nice resource for bag and softgoods designers to reference in their work. The images are sorted by type—for example, backpacks:
