Waveform "The third in the reflective series. Sine wave, Square wave, Triangle wave, and Sawtooth are various forms of modulations that are combined to create, music, sound, electronics, and analog information. Here they are represented visually, each one in a different color of neon, overlapping and combining visually as they reflect inside the box."
Sugarcube "This cubic lamp uses a special prismatic film that separates white light into the whole spectrum of colors. A linear fluorescent tube lamp is fitted to run diagonally from one corner to another. Because the distance from the light source to the prismatic film changes inside the cube, it creates the effect of the colors of the spectrum separating and then coming back together again at its source."
Ball & Chain "24 car headlights are configured into a round sphere. LED lighting is integrated into the headlights with the power cable interwoven with a thick chain that connects it to the power outlet."
Ramo designed by Modoloco. LINK
"Being just like a branch or a cut flower: according to this it has no basement or pedestal to keep itself balanced in an upright position. Due to this particular feature, the lamp must be placed, in order to develop its function as an illuminating object, in a vase or a similar container, according to the user's particular taste. The lamp is made of white painted iron reinforcing rod and a white opalescent polyethylene diffuser and represents the natural form of a branch or a shrub."
The Optilon Concept designed by DIZEL&SATE. LINK
"The concept is inspired from the fashion industry and specifically, the style of Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto. Futuristic cuttings play the masculine against the feminine. Yamamoto's asymmetric and poetic draped dresses informed our use of a black and white base with an unusual punctuation of bright colours. The chosen palette and form also resemble the landscape of an archipelago."
