From crazy sunroofs that allude to Jetson's hovercraft bubbles to more aggressive "faces" to bling-bling headlights and taillights, car makers have handed the torch over to the "quirkies", a.k.a. those weirdos who went to art school, for the next car trend blitz.
The fate of most car companies has been shifting from sober executives and calculating engineers to rest more on the quirky, creative types who head up design departments. As a result, automobile design is changing dramatically.
