Electrolux's Infinite Cooking System uses magnetic induction to hold heat solely in cookware, not the stovetop. The unit's burners are seamless and expand or contract to fit any size pot or pan. Touch-button controls are used as opposed to clunky-junky knobs. 15 touch settings ensure precision cooking, while a "power boost" function gets your cookware super-hot, super-fast.

Haven't induction ovens been around for quite some time? Or is there something about this one that I didn't quite catch? Is it only the good looks?
according to the site, their system is 'unique' among cooking technologies. It therefore can't be induction heating, but it is something to do with a magnetic field.
...the mystery deepens...
maybe small ants with mini blowtorches are transported on little magnetic surfboards to heat your food?
