Well, technically, it's not the smartphones saying "in ya face" in this video--nope, it's an octopus and a piece of sushi (with a lil' push from Symbian Japan, of course). While some of us may feel quite robust strutting down the street, listening to MP3s, and snapping camera phone pix, we certainly can't unlock doors, make purchases, access public transportation, get promotion codes, or check into our flights (among many other options) like our Japanese smartphone-using counterparts.
Geez. Who's idea was this anyway--the octopus or the sushi? Either way, they're both acting like 5-year-olds.
