The Girl Scouts in his "Inventions and Inquiries" course have questioned his sanity. Ko is possibly the biggest name to come out of Japan and is known for continually casting magical fairy dust over the design community. He studied at Carnegie Mellon University and currently resides in Chicago. His recent projects include designing new search methods for the web, illustrating children's books, and the Bingo Factory, an art/design gallery due open this summer.

Yianni Yessios is a Greek American artist who explores the intersection of technology and society. His work uses technology itself to criticize its effects on human beings. In his most recent works, he has looked at the effects of databases on people and how clock design affects our understanding of time. In Homo Indicium, he uses database software, a web interface and a barcode scanner to criticize the use of the vasts amount of data collected by various institutions throughout the world. In O Axronos he offers alternative clock designs to question how people understand the nature of time, and how this understanding is affected by the design of clocks.

Yianni is currently an Assistant Professor at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He teaches programming, 3D animation, robotics, web design, and a seminar for students majoring in digital arts. Ioannis is an accomplished web designer and programmer. He also has experience as theatrical performer, especially as a mime. These skills along with his Greek heritagae and American upbringing greatly influence the nature of his work.
