GLO - is a hyperphotoluminescent wall-mounted mirror which also functions as a nightlight. Glows 10x brighter and longer than conventional zinc sulfide-based materials. Brings to 'life' the typically mundane and static typology of the wall-mounted mirror. This subtle transformation instigates a sense of surprise + discovery in the user: as the lights dim, the mirror vanishes and the border pattern begins to glow thus becoming a reminder of the mirror's former self.
Glo retails for approximately $ 288 and was designed by Andrea Ruggiero (ar_design@mindspring.com) for BART Design's first collection.
