Philadelphia-based Bresslergroup's recent collaboration with Black and Decker yielded an Appliance Manufacture "Excellence in Design Award". The BT2500 10" table saw won top honors in the Power Tools category. Judge Julie Trcka of Texas Instruments commented, "the design looks rugged but simple to use." Trcka also noted "I wouldn't be afraid to use it." Also, The Cutco Ice Cream Scoop, developed by Bresslergroup and client Cutco Cutlery, was featured in the recent edition of Trust, a quarterly magazine published by the Pew Charitable Trust. The article titled "Can You Live Without This?" reviewed the recent Pew sponsored exhibition What Is Design Today? which featured the Cutco ice cream scoop in a section titled "Understanding Process."
