Brooklyn, NY based Benza recently won an Accent on Design award at the 2003 New York International Gift Fair for their Canvas clock line. The Canvas clock dial, a bare 13" square surface, purposely allows the screen printed graphics to define the feeling and meaning of the object. Like an artist's canvas, the object's meaning and value are virtue of the work it proposes and the artist who produced it.

For its first guest designer collection, the Brooklyn, NY based design manufacturer has invited some of the most influential designers in New York City today to express themselves on the theme of time. Over time, Benza will invite groups of designers and artists to continuously redefine time through the development graphics for the clock's dial.
