dxp: designs by people, a New York-based design firm, has introduced SafeGarment a theft-proof clothing hanger. Scheduled for use in Bloomingdale's this autumn, the patent pending display system keeps valuable coats on the racks without the use of electronic sensors or batteries. dxp was responsible for the design, engineering, manufacturing and sales of the product.
