Formstudios Incorporated, an Athens, Georgia-based exhibit design agency, working in close collaboration with Studio Lime (based in San Clemente, CA), has completed interior design and a digital animation featurette for Silicon Graphics' Mobile Innovation Center. The SGI Mobile Innovation Center is an 18-wheel, state-of-the-art demonstration facility currently bringing SGIR technology to clients across the continental US on a twelve month tour.

The bi-coastal design team generated conceptual and final design that was inspired by SGI's high-performance computing, storage, and visualization technologies. The interior materials selections featured rich hardwood veneers, metal accents, and bold graphics juxtaposed with light, transparency, and the high technology of the SGI Reality Center(R), a three-screen modular visualization system. Formstudios also produced an enhanced digital animation and QuickTime(TM) content that would allow those who could not attend the tour a chance to view and experience the Mobile Innovation Center interactively.
