Product Development Technologies (PDT), a product development firm based outside Chicago, worked closely with Cobra Electronics to design their award winning SkyNav 2000 and 3000 Mobile Navigation Systems and the new XRS 9700 radar detector, all of which received high honors at the 2004 Consumer Electronics Show. The Cobra SkyNav 3000 advanced mobile navigation system was awarded the consumer electronics industry's highest honor, a "Best of Innovations" award, for its design and industry leading features. PDT was a key contributor to the development of the SkyNav 3000 via the creation its graphical user interface as well as the industrial design and engineering of the SkyNav 3000 unit.
