Dodo Arslan is a young designer working in Milan. In addition to freelance work for Continuum and other studios, he showed his own furniture prototypes last year at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, which were published in the Design Yearbook 2004. For the 2004 Salone, among other works he will show the LowRes couch, pictured above. The angular LowRes couch, seemingly rendered without the ability to curve lines, breaks from more organic forms of furniture on the market today. The wool-cotton fabric covers soft polyurethane upholstery over a welded tubular frame.
