DCA Design International, a UK design consultancy, participated in the "2020 Vision Design Challenge" hosted by The Packaging Innovation Show in Birmingham last month. The company proposed the "E-Milk Carton" concept, a plastic container manufactured with a fully interactive and animated graphic label. Among the benefits a carton like this would have are enlarged fonts for the visually impaired, alternative language options for country specific labelling requirements, animations of usage, recipes, advertising messages, missing person pleas, extended nutritional information or could even be switched off for a table presentable aesthetic.
