Prime Studio, a design consultancy based in New York City, recently completed work on a line of analog cooking thermometers for Polder which launched at the 2004 International Housewares Show. These new cooking thermometers feature redesigned easy-read dial graphics, unique new shapes and all stainless steel construction. The meat and meat/oven combo thermometers feature a silicone heatshield on the probe which prevents burnt fingers when removing the thermometers. The oven thermometer features a fail-safe clip so the unit can never be knocked off the rack accidentally.
