Amsterdam's Hotel Arena, housed in a beautiful historic building dating from the 1890's originally built as an orphanage, is a former youth hostel turned hipster designer hangout. Several prominent Dutch design firms have already participated in the creation of various interior spaces. The owner, Paul Hermanides, is now using the venue to showcase Dutch design, and last month unveiled six oversized suites designed by IDing and featuring furniture by prominent Dutch designers.
