Last month the *THAW exhibition, in Edmonton, Alberta, highlighted locally designed and manufactured contemporary furniture. Prototypes and manufactured products were exhibited including: tables, chairs, lamps, and home accessories. The *THAW exhibit was part of The Works Art and Design Festival, which celebrated Edmontonís thriving design community. The show is a follow up to the highly successful *FROST show in December of 2003. Both shows were curated by (IDEA).
