The plug.table is a new product by Matthias Demacker, of demackerdesign, a design consultancy based in Munich. The plug.table is two tables in one and is easy to set up. The surface is made of high pressure laminate with integrated grooves on the sides to hold the legs. The tubular steel frames are assembled to produce either a dinner table or a coffee table. It is also possible to connect several tables to produce a longer, conference-type unit. The table was shown in Milan in April, and recently won an award in the Matrialica competition.
