jumpNY recently completed branding and design for a prototype travel center breaking ground soon in Ohio. Produced for Ohio based Hy-Miler/District Petroleum Inc., the new design promotes the company's long standing involvement and sponsorship of local automotive racing events. The creative team at jumpNY wanted to realign the entire brand around motoring, since this location is adjacent to a busy turnpike. The exterior is graphically driven by the brand's racing stripe and is constructed with composite aluminum panels. The ceiling soffit and fixture details in the interior were derived from the shape of a performance manifold gasket purchased at an auto parts store. The application of the brand colors in the interior are complimented with concrete flooring, stainless steel, and cast resin panels.
