Charlie Davidson, a London-based product designer, presented his new eight wheeled super glide 'Wheeler' stools at this years Tokyo Designers Block and at Max Fraser's Design UK show in London. They got a big smile from the most daring of the Japanese visitors who tried them out for a spin proving that design is nothing without functionality and a bit of fun. Made from plastic and metal with small swivel rubber wheels, the stools stack nicely, and will be available in signed special editions. Shown above is the the Bubble design version painted in Ferrari Scarlet red. Davidson is planning on showing about 20 of his stools at the Milan show next year along with some hi-tech follow spot lighting.
