At the recently concluded International Motorcycle Fair INTERMOT (http://www.intermot-muenchen.de) in Munich, a team of students from Offenbach`s Academy of Art and Design was honored with the IVM Design Prize in two categories. The junior jury, consisting of 16 to 21 year olds, granted a first place in the category "Vehicle and Accessories", as well as first place in "Apparel" to a group of fourth semester product design students. The "OFX" team was the only competitor among the 180 entrants presenting an integrated concept consisiting of 1:1 models of a motorcycle and helmet and a collection of innovative protective clothing.
