New from Brooklyn-based redstr/collective is the Cha Table, a 6 person dining table. The table is designed to be cost-effective and elegant, and as eco-friendly as possible. The table is made of PlyBoo and ships flat. The customer assembles the table by slotting the 8 pieces together and bolting (with 4 bolts) the table top to the legs. The efficient design of the table pieces minimize waste from the sheets of PlyBoo. It is also available in other material options such as Dakota Burl and Wheatboard, both eco-friendly building materials. The table is currently available from The Future Perfect in Williamsburg, Brooklyn for $1850, and chairs will be released in mid-late November 2004.
