Ralph Reddig Design is a Michigan-based studio that focuses on interactions that take place among individuals, groups, and environments. The company produces furniture, lighting and environments for clients as well as limited edition self-productions.

Their latest lighting collection invites the viewer to play with graphic composition and qualities of light through physical interaction, allowing individuals to personalize his or her own environment.

Pictured above at left is the "Horizontal Slider Long." Adjusting the light source, the diffuser lens and backing materials give the owner control over exactly how the light interacts with any particular setting. At right is "Box 1," a multi-tiered, freestanding light source. A rigid, one-piece diffuser form on an open base merges furniture characteristics with soft ambient light.
