Terrill Waldman, founder of Terrill Design, is a glassblower and designer based in Oakland, California. Terrill fabricates her own designs as well as pieces commissioned by local lighting designers.

Terrill Design's latest release, the Slinky vase, encompasses a wide array of ideas within its familiar and playful form. The glass, although rigid and static in nature, appears to flex and invokes the expectance of pliable movement. The vase undergoes a unique deconstructive process where the form is initially twice its final height until it endures a calculated collapse to generate the pronounced folds. The Slinky vase is available in delicious candy colors as well as blacks and silvers.
