NYC-based product development studio Pollen Design has teamed up with Swiss kitchenware manufacturer Dalla Piazza to create NuScup, a first-of-its-kind, innovative adjustable measuring scoop with a unique co-molded seal that facilitates the measurement of both dry and liquid ingredients. Co-molding is a high-end precision process where two parts are molded together in such a way that a bond is created between them. This bonding gives the softer part more structure as it is bonded into the stiffer part. NuScup's simple snap-apart construction makes cleaning a breeze, and also has an integrated magnet for convenient placement and easy access. NuScup will make its debut appearance in major housewares retailers across the US and Canada this summer.
