Yves Behar is a highly acclaimed San Francisco based industrial designer as well as founder and design principal of Fuseproject. His newest creation, the Swarovski "Voyage" Crystal Palace Chandelier, was unveiled this April at the Salone di Mobile in Milan and is scheduled for installation this month in Terminal 4 at JFK International Airport. The chandelier was designed in collaboration with Swarovski and Bombay Sapphire.

"Voyage" is composed of 52,000 crystals held in a 4.5 meter double loop formation. 2000 motion-sensitive LEDs embedded into the structure are triggered to light up as travelers pass back and forth through the airport. The experiential design was visually inspired by water and depicts the fluid, constant, and inexhaustible capabilities of human movement throughout the world.
