Fitch -- Sippy Snacker

Fitch is a multi-faceted design firm offering services in architecture, brand identity, communication design, digital design, environments, packaging, product development and trend forecasting. They operate from a number of offices around the world with headquarters in London and Columbus, Ohio. One of their latest innovations is the Sippy Snacker, developed for Gerber. The Sippy Snacker was developed by observing the actions and mannerisms of children and working with The Ohio State University's Institute for Ergonomics. It revolutionizes the overlooked scenario of on-the-go snacking and drinking, making holding, drinking, and snacking easier for children and less fussy for their parents.

The spill-proof cup incorporates an easy to open snack container with a twist-top lid, which children can access themselves while avoiding excess spillage. The beverage compartment uses a design that traps the patented spill-proof valve between the lid and the cup, preventing it from slipping out when the cup is dropped or knocked over. The cup also has a stable, rubberized base that fits into car cup holders and a recessed lid to make room for the child's nose in order to eliminate awkward drinking positions. The Sippy Snacker is available in three lively colors and two different sizes to accommodate optimal comfort for crawlers through toddlers.
