Nike presents a sparkling new, by-appointment customization design studio in New York City. NIKEiD at 255 Studio offers people an opportunity to custom design Nike shoes, just as you can on the site, but with the added flair of a personal consultant in a creatively stimulating environment.

Working alongside architects and designers Lynch / Eisinger / Design (LynchEisingerDesign.com), Nike designers conjured up an intensely detail-oriented and multi-dimensional space filled with surroundings worthy of a double take. The wallpapers, for example, appear as a familiar stripe or Fleur de Lis pattern at first glance, however when observed closely, they reveal intricate depictions of silhouettes of basketball players and Air Force 1's, clusters of Dunks, and shoestrings. The double stitching on the couches uses the same process as the manufacturing of Nike footwear and the wood from the walnut cabinets all came from the same tree to boot.

Visitors to the NikeiD studio will be admitted by appointment only, having submitted their names on the NikeiD website and being chosen by random. Registration for appointments will be active shortly.
