Exeter,UK-based experimental design studio Mixko introduces the Coron lampshade, the newest addition to their already abundant lighting collection. Coron wraps around a hanging bulb like a warm fuzzy blanket, held securely in place with a wooden button. Given the lampshade's succinct function of diffusing bare light, it manages to keep its integrity with a nostalgic familiarity, harking back to ye olde days of bundled-up adventures in the snow. Coron is made of wool felt, is offered in white, pink, blue and red, and is intended for use with energy-saving light bulbs.
