Cupful Design, founded by Cecilia Lundgren and Erika Norberg, is an innovative furniture and housewares design company located in Kalmar, Sweden. Their new collection, "A Cupful of Simplicity," includes three table designs that incorporate origami-inspired forms of single-sheet aluminum with glass tabletops. Their crisp, architectural lines rest in balance with the materials' heavy and rigid nature. The largest table is a square shape measuring 30cm x 130 cm x 40cm with seamlessly integrated stools that expose their silhouettes when pulled away for use. Although an abundance of minimal aluminum and glass furniture exists in today's market, the simple and playful exploration of material capabilities and negative space set these tables apart from the rest.
