Sternform Produktgestaltung, founded by Olaf Kiessling and Andrea Grossfuss, is a product, furniture and accessory design firm based in Keplerstrasse, Germany. Their Babuschka chair set includes three waxed birch plywood chairs with each one slightly larger than the one below, allowing them to stack completely into one another. When the set is fully stacked, it can conveniently be used as a single seat, a feature that most stacking chairs lack. Each chair has a painted underside in the same color range as its two counterparts. The Babuschka chair set is offered in blue, green, red, and grey color schemes.
