| Furni -- Vallely There's nothing more aggravating than realizing, in the midst of "logging out," that the previous occupant conveniently forgot to replace the toilet paper roll. While still seated, you then strain all sorts of muscles trying to reach into the sink cabinet for a fresh roll. Next, as you attempt to remove the old tube, the spring-loaded holder manages to escape your clutches, ricochets off the tile, hits you in the eye, and lands you in the ER for corrective optical surgery. Alas! A simple poop has become quite an ordeal. All #1 and 2-takers who use Montreal-based Furni's Vallely toilet roll holder must have evolved earlier than the rest of us. Just because the roll has a hole doesn't mean we have to use it. The toilet paper roll rests in the white acrylic cubby and is pulled through a cutout in the front. The solid beech base plate holds it firmly to the wall. The fixture measures 6" x 6" x 4" and is available on the Furni website for twenty-nine dollars.
