Their team members possess an array of backgrounds such as lifestyle products, consumer electronics, medical devices and domestic appliances, with a focus on efficient production and emerging technologies. Open2's most recent development is the Softdrive 200 range for Saftronics. Softdrive units are traditionally used for powering up plant equipment in a range of applications, from air conditioning systems in your office to production lines in factories. Open2 worked with Saftronics in designing the Softdrive range to be as efficient, cohesive and integrated as possible. A reduced footprint significantly minimized required panel space making it easier for the user to install. The new Softdrive range, with it's smaller frame and more up-to-date and neutral look, is no longer a shameful sight, intended and encouraged to be left out in the open while other Quasimodo-like softdrives remain hidden away.
