Prisma is an innovative and stylish new approach towards media centers presented by V12 Design, a design and engineering firm located in Milan, Italy. With media centers becoming more prevalent in the home, we all knew a makeover was in the works. Prisma actually incorporates the feature-packed PC unit into a working table lamp, granting the media center a peaceful existence in the modern home, set free from life as a leper amidst a sea of home goods with supermodel looks. Prisma is composed of aluminium, sheet metal, silicon, and Perspex (polymethyl methacrylate, a clear, lightweight and durable plastic). Prisma undergoes multiple processes, including die-casting, CNC-milling, laser cutting and powder coating, to reach its final state.
