i29, a versatile Dutch design firm, has recently completed a custom furniture installation project for Het Veer, a public school for children with learning and concentration difficulties located in Almere, the Netherlands. The education provided at Het veer is highly specialized and geared towards improving the children's disabilities through use of creative practices. i29's involvement called for the development of an interior that referenced the keywords "concentration," "playful," and "movement." The wide variety of wire-frame furniture pieces can be mixed and matched into various modular formations, stimulating the students' to figure out the many functions that are offered in these configurations. The flowing field of lines and planes forms a graphic playground that evokes curiosity and attracts the eye.
