Norway Says has recently styled Asono's brand new digital audio broadcast (DAB) unit, rivaling and perhaps even rising above the beloved Apple aesthetic. The Oslo-based design firm has undeniably created an original visual aesthetic far removed from the often-imitated and omnipresent Apple brand, relieving the eyes in a moment of newness. The main unit can be conjoined with matching speakers in a number of tasteful rectilinear configurations. The linear digital display is clear and easy to read with an additional novelty feature; whether the unit is placed on its bottom or side, the screen can adjust to be horizontally readable in any position. DAB1 is available in black or white and plays back DAB, FM band, WMA and MP3, and also features USB connectivity.
