Frederik van Heereveld -- Q(ue) Couch

The word "modular" oftentimes brings a shifty-eyed look of skepticism upon our faces, yet once in a while, someone manages to make sense of it. Belgian furniture designer Frederik van Heereveld presents Q(ue) Couch, a playful, modular seating solution with infinite range. Each segment is formed from expanded polypropylene (EPP), a lightweight plastic often used for car parts and packaging. At the user's discretion, these segments are joined together to any desired length, with endless pop-color pattern possibilities. Van Heereveld plans to add extra features, such as armrests and bends, to this design in the near future
