In his newest project, avant-garde Brooklyn designer Tobi Wong marries current trend technology with a very traditional object. A nearly ordinary jam jar, with a frosted glass container and vacuum-seal latch lid, houses a solar cell, battery, and LED lights. The jar collects sunlight throughout the day to provide a warm glowing light at nighttime. Design and manufacturing company Suck UK produces and will soon distribute Sun Jar.
