German product design studio Sternform introduces their latest tabletop invention, the Side dish. This modular ceramic dish was formed with organic lines yet can still be arranged in an endless variety of geometric patterns. Side's unique width to depth ratio makes it suitable for use as both a plate and a bowl. A flush-fit configuration conserves space on the table—especially handy when an abundance of dishes are served. Sternform suggests creating formations that leave gaps to economically accommodate other tabletop items such as glasses, cutlery, candles, or flowers. Side's timeless, elegant design makes for a spectacular table piece, whether used alone or in a 30-count cluster.
