Calder's newest endeavor is a carbon fiber case for laptops that's equipped with a leather exterior, velvet lining, and suspension system. Each case takes thirty-five hours of skilled hand crafting to fit your specific needs. The leather exterior, provided by Joseph Clayton of Chesterfield, takes a four-month process to transfer the raw hide into a protective covering for the carbon base, making the case durable and lightweight. The interior contains a suspension unit with two densities of foam, insuring that whatever it's carrying is well protected. Like the rest of the case, the suspension system is customized to fit each laptop, and can be easily removed to provide more space.

Besides laptops, Calder also makes custom-made violin, electric and acoustic guitars cases.
