The John Hogan exhibition will include his first foray into furniture design, including a series of sculptural glass tables that elevate furniture to art. When viewed through VR headsets, the exhibition will transport viewers to The Future Perfect's new Hollywood Hills outpost, Casa Perfect. He has also created large-scale "water lenses" — one-of-a-kind blown glass sculptures that are filled with water to create optical illusions.
Alongside the Hogan exhibition, The Future Perfect will also present never-before-seen works by Rooms, an exciting design duo based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Inspired by experiences during their soviet childhood and Georgia's rich cultural mix of Asian and European influences, Rooms pushes the boundaries of handcrafted furniture design. For their debut solo exhibition at The Future Perfect, Rooms will present Alchemy, an otherworldly installation of furniture, sculptures, abstract wallpaper, and vintage Georgian rugs.
