The International Interior Design Association's (IIDA NY) Sustainable Design Forum educational event, Grading the Rating: WELL Rated, will be the first in a series devoted to the comparison of rating systems for interior environments. This event will focus on providing information about WELL Building Standard and will utilize the newly open Delos offices at 860 Washington Street in Manhattan to illustrate possible strategies employed to achieve good quality office space. After a short introduction, participants of the event will move between 4 Stations/Focus Groups to dive into a discussion of Fitness, Nutrition & Water, Air & Light; and Comfort & Mind principles. The discussion will showcase examples of the interior features that respond to the requirements of the WELL Building Standard.
A panel discussion will follow the lecture and answer the following:
How WELL was applied in this and other projects and how to measure success?
Why it's important to set performance goals, how owners measure quantitative and qualitative feedback?
How and why these healthier environments are facilitating overall lifestyle changes?
The panel discussion will be followed by Q&A session.
