Your house or your room is such a private place that you don’t want anybody gets in without notice. Rugbell is your best choice if your roommate don’t have the habit of knocking door; if you want to know if anybody want to get in your house or room when you are not there; if you want to make sure who is visiting without opening the door; if you want the sense of security for you, your place and your belonging.
Rugbell is a rug in front of your door works like a door bell. Let your guest ring your door bell by stepping on your rug. The rug is consisted of a weight and shape sensor with a rug cover. It can gather the information including his/her weight and shoes print and base on these infos to estimate who it is. Of course, you need to save the guest’s info when they first time come. Believe me it will give your guest a surprise welcome!

If you are home, you will hear the door bell ring when the guest is standing in front of your door. And you can read the information of the guest to know if s/he is welcome or not.
If you are not home, you will be informed by a massage sent by the sensor rug when somebody is trying to visit you or try to get in your house.

Rugbell is consisted of a build in sensor and a rug cover, so it is basically present as a rug with various pattern and materials. But it can be also build in under the floor in front of the door and become an invisible door bell or you can call it an alarm.
