I wrote allready a mail to Matt Wright but he and others don't reply! Nobody seems to be able to help me! I ve been registered at domainhost.com and I'm trying to set up a Guestbook like yours but it does'nt work (yet)... I've receiving prolems running a cgi script from within my cgi-bin... I'm trying to create your guestbook, so people can subscribe, but i get an internal server error! Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there a problem with that script- or is there a another guestbook solution, or do I need an update?? I'm working on a Macintosh. I have on http://www.bobduys.com a few files: http://www.bobduys.com/cgi-bin http://www.bobduys.com/cgi-bin/guestbook.pl http://www.bobduys.com/guestbook/addguest.html http://www.bobduys.com/guestbook/guestbook.html http://www.bobduys.com/guestbook/guestlog.html Everything works fine: I click on the add-url it goes to addguest-file and then 'submit Query' it gives : Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, support < a t > domainhost.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. Premature end of script headers: /data2/www.bobduys.com/cgi-bin/guestbook.pl I have tried these settings: $guestbookurl = "http://www.bobduys.com/guestbook/guestbook.html"; $guestbookreal = "data2/www.bobduys.com/guestbook/guestbook.html"; $guestlog = "http://www.bobduys.com/guestbook/guestlog.html"; $cgiurl = "http://www.bobduys.com/cgi-bin/guestbook.pl"; What do I do wrong? $guestbookurl = "http://your.host.com/~yourname/guestbook.html"; = obvious $guestbookreal = "/home/yourname/public_html/guestbook.html"; Is this on my computer or on my website? $guestlog = "/home/yourname/public_html/guestlog.html"; Is this on my computer or on my website? $cgiurl = "http://your.host.com/cgi-bin/guestbook.pl"; = obvious Is the name guestbook.pl in my http://your.host.com/cgi-bin a good name?
