My heroes are:

Gene Roddenberry and Albert Einstein

Gene Roddenberry created a whole new environment for the Star Trek episodes, which makes him a master concept man. He also showed us a vision of the future which both embraces, and warns us about the new technological age we are entering.

And of course Einstein who reinvented the way in which we look at our universe.

Another shout goes out to the original Creator.

"I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or
that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts; the rest are
details." Einstein

I think the results of this are quite interesting: There are two ways to appreciate this 'automatic typing': Firstly we can simply enjoy the bizarre shapes and sounds that have been created, much like simply enjoying the tones, colours and shapes in a fully abstract painting. Or, secondly, we can think attempt to rationalize this chaotic monologue, and try to find sense in it: Note the recurring motifs and word-patterns: It could be seen as the downward spiral of an insane mind, spouting jibberish, yet almost logical jibberish; Or it could be seen as another language, which we can attempt to decipher, by noting simmilarities of syntax and punctuation with those of languages with which we are familiar. In the end, it is up to you how you view this, as it was not me who created it: It came into existance as a result of random motions of my fingers.(Having said the word 'random' I feel that I should correct myself: of course they were not entirely chaotic, as can be seen by the recurrence of word patterns, but it would seem that 'random' is the most efficient word to describe the motions which my fingers underwent.

Of Course, I could just be talking shit, and all of this could just be Gobbldegook, Mumbo-Jumbo, Codswallop, bullshit, rubbish and nonsense. But then, isn't that the beauty of AAAAARRRRRRTTTTTTTTTT?

Pages like these are a good opportunity for intelligent, interesting people to express intelligent, interesting opinions. Unfortunately, as virtually anyone can gain access to the web, pages such as this are usually filled with the illiterate drivel of a thousand idiots. As I flicked through the other comments I noticed at least five comments in which the cerebrally challenged authors cited 'The Green Lantern and Batman' as their favourite designing heroes, employing a distinct lack of puntuation and a highly innovative form of grammar to express their illustrious viewpoints. The airport's really modern yet one doesn't feel harried/harrassed upon arrival there with the combined modernity and nature in design. Stenberg Brothers: because their utilisation of the simplistic technology allowed them to develop a unique style that brought out the entire film athmosphere rather than the "modern" approach of attempting to highlight the star in a single scene.

My heroes are:
Sir Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution!

From the start of humans life on earth man has created tools and other necesities in order to survive. Darwin's theory does not just relate to animals but to society and how the human race has expanded. Darwin was not just a dude in a white lab coat but a social scientist.

My heroes are:
Nikola Tesla and Phil Hartman

Nikola Tesla was one of the, if not the, greatest inventor of
the early 20th century. He invented radio, alternating current
planted the seeds for RADAR, co-discovered x-rays and was rumored
to have developed a death ray.

Phil Hartman (of SNL and NewsRadio fame) used to be a graphic
designer before he became a famous comedian - it's nice to know
designers don't _always_ have to be designers.

My heroes are:
Dr. Ron E. Nelson and Charles and Ray Eames

The Eames did simple but great design. Dr. Nelson is still alive and designing. I worked with him for awhile and learned so much...he inspired me to return to school to become an Industrial designer. He is still whipping out good designs. And he loves what he is doing.

My heroes are:
time and destruction

as Nietzsche said there is no real and just truth,
the only truth is none.
the destruction of reality is the new design,
and time can contribuate to this destruction.it
helps voiding the subject from his fonctionnal and
real dimension. this "new object" flyes with its
new life.man can give this new magic life with
his spiritual and artistic power.

My heroes are:
Marcel Duchamp and A russian named Theremin

Duchamp, contestataire, anti-conformiste et libre!
Duchamp made the usual seem unnatural, by calling
common objets ¨Fine Art¨
Un urinoir on the wall like a Rembrandt...
And also
Theremin the russian inventor of the Theremin
(synthetizer) who made industrial or techno music
before anybody else (in the 1920's)...
Also because his invention was used in almoste any
Sci-Fi B-Movies of the Fifties...
Depuis, le cosmos n'est plus le meme...

My heroes are:
Tadao Ando and Antoine de St. Exupery

Ando-san's architecture allows perception of nature,
weather, and spirit. Anyone who thinks that his
buildings are just concrete boxes should read his
books. St.-Ex (wrote 'the little prince' and other
stuff) had such a grip on what it was to be human,
to participate in the immensity of living. Don't you
remember his book? "What is essential is invisible
to the eye."

My heroes are:

I am against the idea of design heroes in that too
many designers seem to be more interested in being
celebrities than in doing good work. The best
desgners I know don't have cool names and don't
care about being in the limelight. They just do
their job well. Some seem to deserver their
reputation more than others. There is know way
Tucker Viemeisteris a "ebullient elder wunderkind."
Ambasz, on the other hand, does some incredible work.

his own suites and have you seen the things he
can do!! Wow, what an inspiration.
My studio teacher Paul Randal now teaching a ASU is
a great hero in my life. I have a lot to learn but
